Profile

Sercan is a doctoral researcher at the Chair for Business Analytics (Prof. Markus Weinmann) at the University of Cologne. His research interest lies in human-AI collaboration and digital platforms. 
He received his bachelor’s and master's degrees in economics from the University of Cologne. Alongside his studies, he worked as a research assistant at the Chair for Behavioral Economics, the Chair of Economics, and the Cologne Laboratory for Economic Research (CLER). In the professional context, Sercan worked and gained experience at companies like Ernst & Young, Deutsche Telekom, and CandidateSelect. 
Sercan also supervises Bachelor’s, Master’s, and MBA theses in the area of human-AI collaboration.
